Product Marketing Technician

We currently have a permanent position available within our Product Marketing team for a Product Marketing Technician role supporting the various brands that sit under the IFGL umbrella.

The successful candidate will support the product marketing team with the preparation of digital and written sales material, including social media messages through a variety of platforms and media-channels, website maintenance and the preparation of technical material to support the evolution and promotion of the IFGL product range. 

This role would suit a candidate looking to develop their marketing skills whilst supporting and implementing the marketing strategy for an international financial services company’s product range. 

The successful candidate will also be encouraged and supported to study for relevant qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Marketing as well as receiving opportunities to develop their career further across the IFGL range of companies.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • The maintenance of existing product literature ensuring that all documents such as application forms and terms and conditions continue to meet regulatory obligations
  • The creation of promotional materials such as sales aids, brochures and presentations that are clear, not misleading and can be easily understood by the intended audience.
  • The creation and maintenance of servicing forms, working with stakeholders throughout the group to deliver both electronic and hard copy documents whilst maintaining consistent “on-brand” approach.
  • The creation and maintenance of product training materials
  • The creation and maintenance of web-based content, using Google Analytics to track traffic and manage the online product offering
  • The creation of key product messages promoted via various social media platforms
  • The analysis of key competitor product offerings
  • Assist in answering pre and post sales product related queries
  • Assist in the production of annual product reviews to meet regulatory obligations

 

To ensure that this role is carried out to the desired level, the successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally two years’ experience in marketing or in the financial services industry
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess strong organisational and planning skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a confident and dedicated self-starter with a pro-active approach to workloads
  • Currently studying or willing to study Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)
