We currently have a permanent position available within the Customer Services AML Team.

Reporting to the AML & Complaints Manager, the role primarily supports the delivery of an AML Remediation project alongside carrying out scheduled reviews for Higher Risk and PEP clients.

The main duties for the role holder will include:

• Managing a team of 6-10 AML Analysts primarily identifying and remediating gaps in customer due diligence.
• Maintains PEP and Higher Risk Registers ensuring trigger event and scheduled reviews are completed as required.
• Works closely with the AML Operations Team Manager and wider AML team to ensure our AML/CTF obligations are met.
• Maintains and builds strong working relationships across the business
• Point of reference for technical queries relating to on-going KYC and EDD matters for personal, corporate and trust clients.
• Ensures SARs are raised in response to events such as KYC concerns, adverse media and transaction monitoring.
• SME input into business as usual and project support

To ensure that this role is carried out to the desired level, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• An understanding of the Isle of Man’s AML framework
• Previous worked in a financial crime or new business onboarding role
• Hold an ICA Certificate or Diploma in Anti Money Laundering (or equivalent)
• Experience of AML remediation projects
• Performance management including 1:1s, coaching and team development
• Proven ability to delivery projects and tasks on time demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing priorities and resources
