Senior Customer Services Administrator


Location: Castletown, Isle of Man
Department: Customer Services (Ardan)

We have a 6 month contract position available within the Customer Services Team in Ardan. 

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the role would suit a high performing individual, with an understanding of customer due diligence, new business acceptance and regulatory requirements with strong attention to detail skills. 

The purpose of the role is to provide a point of contact for support, administration assistance and general relationship management to financial advisers and the Ardan sales force.

 

The main responsibilities of the role holder will include:

  • Reviewing new business applications for quality and regulatory Anti- Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing control purposes. 
  • Ensuring that new business applications have been accepted and processed in line with Ardan’s internal guidelines & procedures.
  • Contacting Financial Advisers and Customers to request outstanding information
  • Client set up and ongoing servicing on the Customer Relations Management system and the Ardan Platform, including web support
  • Applying incoming funds and processing withdrawals/surrenders, data capture and recording management information data
  • Provide support and assistance to the Ardan Sales Team and financial advisers on processes and operational procedures
  • To work with other departments in executing corporate projects and plans and contribute to the Ardan continuous development programme to automate online processes and enhance the platform for users. 

 

To ensure that this role is carried out to the desired level, the successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

  • Ideally 5 years’ experience within a new business/servicing role within Investments or Life Assurance.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage customer and staff relationships, promptly respond to queries whilst ensuring promises are kept expectations are managed.
  • Ability to deliver against deadlines
  • Ability to deliver accuracy and quality performance
  • Strong attention to detail skills
